COMMUNITY COACHING TEAM
Introducing the Worcester City FC & Worcester City FC Supporters Trust Community Coaching Team.
Worcester City Football Club (WCFC) is keen to re-open its doors and invite youngsters, their parents, family and friends to experience the regular match day drama at what is the bggest, oldest and most famous club in the area.
To this end, we have created a Community Coaching Team (CCT) to oversee events and opportunities aimed at involving our community, be that as individuals, families, friends, businesses, sponsors, teams, clubs, groups and schools.
As a fan owned club, we realise that our community is from where we will draw our greatest strength which is why we Ian not just to be a community owned club but a club for our community.
The CCT has and will continue to put together events and opportunities for folk to participate but we would also welcome suggestions from those who may have community minded ideas of their own that could involve the CCT,
Our CCT staff are made up of volunteers over 16 years of age. There is no criteria as to ability, gender, age or ethnicity. Coaches will be expected to attain or hold recognised FA certification in Football Coaching, Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding. Volunteers will also be required to undergo an essential DBS check.
There are also opportunities for youngsters under teh age of 16to be involved as young leaders that include duties/roles such as assisting with coaching, match officiation and event preparation.
Attendance is voluntary and always subject to avilability.
