RETURNING TO WORCESTER

Within months of The Supporters Trust becoming majority shareholder of Worcester City FC, a deal was made to bring the Club back to Worcester at Claines Lane where we started the 2020/21 season.  This ended a seven season absence from the City. However due to the Covid Restrictions, we were limited to crowds of just 300 before the season prematurely ended at the end of December 2020.

As of December 2019, the Supporters’ Trust and Football Club are no longer pursuing Perdiswell as an option to return to Worcester. In December, the Football Club agreed an in-principal agreement with the Worcestershire FA and Worcester City Council for all parties to work together towards Worcester City FC moving into the county FA’s facility for the 20/21 season.

The Supporters’ Trust and Football Club would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the project for a community sports hub at Perdiswell.
